This is a text book of good old-fashioned English comprehensions that most school children will have met during their junior education. Along with questions about the various passages (which vary from poms to excerpts from novels), there are questions that test grammar and puncuation. A truly excellent, straight-forward text book that is still very relevant to today's children, but without the silly cartoons and "dumbed down" presentation. Good meaty stuff that I thoroughly recommend!
